This is the first post of my 365 day challenge. I was supposed to start on the 1st January but had a few technical issues.
Ok, I’m doing this post so that I don’t fail on my first goal of the year and that’s to produce one video and one blog post a day minimum. It’s a tall order. I tried a 30 day challenge but failed after about 7 days. So 365 is going to be tough. But that’s why I want to do it. Most things that are tough to achieve are worthwhile. It is part of my overall plan for the year which I will come to in a later post. I was inspired by two content producers – Steve Pavlina and GaryVee. Steve Pavlina because he’s starting a similar challenge and GaryVee because he emphasis producing content in order to build a personal brand and not creating but documenting.
I’m going to document my process for essentially escaping the retrace, streamlining my finances and creating an online income. And more importantly doing this video series keeps me accountable to you guys, if anyone watches these at all. Over the last 12 months I have worked on creating an online income and I will discuss how I did that and how much I’ve made so far. there is no hype, it has been hard work over the last 12 months and the income is not huge but it’s a solid income that can scale and will hopefully provide enough income to quit my normal job or reduce my hours significantly.
If you decide to start a similar 365 day challenge then let me know below. Or if you’re reading this later in the year a 240 day challenge or whatever, let me know below.
